The Washington County Law Library, in coordination with the Washington County Bar Association, present:

"Entrapment and the Use of Informants Post-9/11"

Join us for a screening of the film, Better This World (http://betterthisworld.com/), and a discussion with Criminal Defense Attorney Jeff DeGree. Better This World tells the true story of two boyhood friends: David McKay and Michael Crowder from Midland, Texas, who were arrested on terrorism charges at the 2008 Republican National Convention in St. Paul, Minnesota. Better This World examines the impact of the War on Terror on our criminal justice system including: plea bargaining, civil liberties, and political dissent in post-9/11 America. Jeff Degree, Esq., criminal defense attorney for David McKay, will lead a discussion of the film.

We raise money to donate to legal aid organizations and provide scholarships to students.
